In the period from 4 to 8 May 2026, the 13th International Conference on Forest Ecosystem Monitoring – FORECOMON 2026 – was held in Dubrovnik, Croatia.
Members of the PINE-WATER project, Lukrecija Butorac, PhD, and Ivan Limić, PhD, participated in the conference. Within the conference programme, Lukrecija Butorac, PhD, presented research conducted within the project “Assessment of Water Availability in Mediterranean Black Pine Forests – PINE-WATER” (HRZZ IP-2025-02-4184), focusing on water availability and hydrological processes in Mediterranean karst forest ecosystems.


Participation in the conference contributed to the exchange of knowledge and the strengthening of international cooperation in the field of forest ecosystem monitoring and climate change.
